Opportunities

The Watershed Remote Sensing Lab is based in Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences at UNBC, in Prince George, British Columbia. We work at the intersection of hydrology, the cryosphere, remote sensing and environmental sensor design.

Graduate students

Prospective graduate students (Master’s only at this time) interested in these themes are welcome to get in touch. Graduate work in the lab is normally through the Natural Resources and Environmental Studies (NRES) program at UNBC.

• a short description of your research interests and why they fit the lab
• your CV
• your academic background and any relevant field, programming or geospatial experience

Undergraduate students

Undergraduate research assistant positions come up through the academic year and over the summer, including NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA). Current and past assistants are listed on the People page. Get in touch if you would like to be considered.

Professional mentorship

I mentor articling agrologists through the BC Institute of Agrology Professional Agrologist Mentorship Program. Current and past mentees are listed on the People page.
